For some the new year came with healthy resolutions! Wether you quit smoking, gave up unhealthy eating habits or stopped drinking alcohol - here are the best tips for a fast detox. These are the five things that helped me most by flushing those toxins out even faster!

Pineapple, Ginger & Cucumber

I made a smoothie out of these 3 fruit & veggies every morning in my first week. This made my mornings a breeze and I didn’t even think about smoking a cigarette! Plus the pineapple contains a great amount of antioxidants and boosts the blood circulation. You get even more antioxidants and micronutrients through the cucumber. Add a little piece of ginger for inflammatory benefits!

I usually use frozen pineapple, fresh cucumber and fresh ginger. On days I want to add even more of the good stuff, I add a spoon of your supers gut restore powder - let me tell you, it’s amazing!


Sleep

Give your body time to recover. He has to get rid of a lot of built up toxins! I slept a little more in this first week because it also helped me with ignoring my cravings! A sleeping beauty can’t smoke or drink :)

For better sleep I added golden milk to my nightly ritual. It helps with sleep quality and anxiety reduction! Mix 1-2 teaspoons with the milk of your choice and drink before bedtime.


Take your turmeric supplements

I take one capsule of curcuma forte daily. It’s really good for your health since it helps building up your immune system!


Move your body & sweat this shit out

Find ways to gently move your body. Don’t overdo if you weren’t active before! Start with calming yoga, go for a walk or hike, try some barre… 15 minutes a day is all it takes! To step the game up switch to intensive sports as soon as you feel sportive enough.

Drink your water

Drink, drink, drink. Right now, I drink a minimum of two litres per day. When I forget to drink I feel myself getting tired and demotivated. So I try hard to keep myself hydrated!

How, you ask? A smoothie first thing in the morning. Through out the day 2 litres of water. When I get home I make myself an iced matcha and I usually drink 1-2 glasses of water right before I go to bed. It’s not that hard! It’s just a habit.
