what this is all about

Long time no see! I spent most of this year thinking about what aspects of my life I want to change and the easiest way of doing it. a lot (a whole lot!) of thinking came down to one point - streamlining.


What does streamlining mean?

In relation to making your life easier, streamlining means simplifying processes, tasks, or routines to reduce complexity, save time, and minimize effort. It involves eliminating unnecessary steps, organizing efficiently, and focusing on what’s essential to improve productivity and reduce stress. Streamlining often leads to more clarity, better focus, and a smoother flow in daily activities, making life more manageable and enjoyable.


What do I expect from streamlining my life?

Mostly I feel overwhelmed from decision fatigue. There are so many choices we make every day and I just don’t feel like I get to an end. I don’t want to decide again and again but be confident in my decisions and stick to them. I don’t want to change my morning routine everytime I see something new on social media I might want to try. I don’t want to change the way I dress every season just because of fashion. I do want to slowly adapt things like nutrition and clothing to my current life style and adapt further if there’s a change in it. But I’m done with overconsumtion and letting other people tell me what I need and don’t need. So the goal is to simplify and streamline my life in a sustainable way. I’m tired of doing things over and over again. Of decluttering my kitchen again because I bought too many super foods I thought I needed. Of decluttering my wardrobe again because overconsumption is real. Of spending all my decision power to decide what to do, what to eat, what to buy and what to wear today. I’m done with social media, which isn’t social anymore. I do enjoy following people who share what they do, but I can’t listen to one more person who makes people buy shit they don’t need.

Mostly I want to have time and energy to make important choices and eliminate the unimportant ones.


What parts of my life make most sense to streamline?

I will go deeper into this in other blog posts but for me personally it will start with daily routines. This is what I think makes the biggest difference. Then I will go on to my Diet, then Appearance related things (like clothing, skincar, makeup), Fitness, Digital Life, Social and Family Life, Work & Productivity, and in the very end - my finances. My hopes are high that my finances will be much easier to streamline once I did all the other categories.
